Color Block Curtains

From the beginning, I wanted to use white curtains in the nursery.  To me, white curtains are clean and just keep the room looking fresh.  But I had the urge to add more color to them.  I had been searching for a cool fabric to make curtains but I wasn't ready to fork out big bucks for it.  I also thought about using ribbon to add a border around the inside edges like this but I ended up using
